This page outlines the steps taken from signing up to collecting your credits after a stay.

 

What you do as a Guest:

Submit your "Sign up" information.

Click on "Search for Guestrooms" and fill in the desired search criterion.

Browse the results for a place at which you would like to request a stay.

Submit a "Request for Contact"

Guestroom Network emails your request to the host, along with your contact information.

Host views your profile information on the site and may contact you to "get to know you"

Host either accepts or declines contact

Guestroom Network passes host's reply to you.

If YES, the site mails you the host's email address.

You and the Host get to know each other and make arrangements.

Go to "member services" and pay the Guestroom Network service charge of $4.00 US by credit card.

You stay at the Host's guestroom as agreed.

Host notifies Guestroom Network of your stay, claims credits and submits rating sheet.

Guestroom Network adds credit(s) to host's account and deducts from your account.

Submit a rating form, evaluating the Host.

Transaction is complete.


What you do as a Host:

Submit your "Sign up" information.

Wait for a "Request for Contact" from another member.

Review the requesting member's information.

Submit your reply to Guestroom Network accepting or rejecting contact.

Contact the Guest(s), get to know them until you feel comfortable.

You can call their neighbors for referrences through most portals "white pages". Guestroom Network assumes no responsibility for the quality or behavior of your guests toward you.

Tell the guest your address and contact numbers, since Guestroom Network does not give them out.

Guest(s) stay in your spare room.

Report stay to Guestroom Network member services and submit Guest Rating form.

Guestroom Network adds credit(s) to your account and deducts from the Guest's account.

Transaction is complete.
